* On January 18th 2007 Trevor appeared on Radio 4's Material World to talk about whale strandings. Go to http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/science/thematerialworld_20070118.shtml where you can listen to the recording of the programme (the item is in the second half).

* On March 25th Trevor gave a multi-sensory presentation called Whales Ahoy! to children and parents at the Natural History Museum in London. Trevor received a very warm welcome and the children asked great questions, such as ‘How do whales sleep?’ and ‘What effect is global warming having on whales?’

* Dorling Kindersley's See For Yourself: Water, written by Trevor Day, launched a new series of lively books for children in April 2007.

* From September 2007 Trevor will be a Royal Literary Fund fellow at the University of Bath where he will be coaching students and staff in writing skills for two days a week. In the meantime, he is completing his PhD about students modeling the good practice of other students.

* Trevor is currently working on four highly-illustrated science books for young reluctant readers.
